Culver Invites Senior Citizens to Expo on July 19 in Sunbury
SUNBURY – Residents ages 55 and older and their caregivers in the 108th District are invited to attend Rep. Lynda Schlegel Culver’s (R-Northumberland/Snyder) 8th Annual Senior Expo sponsored by UPMC Susquehanna Sunbury. The expo will be held on Thursday, July 19, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Shikellamy High School Cafeteria. The high school is located at 600 Walnut St. in Sunbury.

“We are looking forward to this year’s Senior Expo, partly because we have 12 health screenings and additional vendors but also because we are able to connect seniors in our area with services that seek to help improve their quality of life,” Culver said.

Sixty-five vendors are expected to have information beneficial to area senior citizens. Free health screenings and services will be available including blood pressure, memory loss, balance and foot health, fall assessments, hearing aid cleanings and checks, five-minute chair massages, skin damage and lipid screenings, bone density heal scans and video otoscopy, and more.

Culver thanks UPMC Susquehanna Sunbury for sponsoring this year’s event and for providing refreshments and FREE totes to the first 300 attendees. Drawings will be held for door prizes.
