HARRISBURG – Rep. Lynda Schlegel Culver (R-Northumberland/Snyder) would like to invite all those involved in the agriculture industry throughout Northumberland and Snyder counties to her annual Farmers Breakfast. The event will be held at the Northumberland County Fair on Thursday, Aug. 26, at 9 a.m. at Tall Cedar’s Grove, located at 522 Seven Points Road in Sunbury. The breakfast is being catered by members of Tall Cedars.
Congressman Fred Keller will be featured as the guest speaker for this year’s event, which is sponsored by Susquehanna Community Bank and the Northumberland County Fair.
“Agriculture in our region dates back to our earliest roots,” said Culver. “Today it is still Pennsylvania’s No. 1 industry and one of our most successful and important local businesses. This event is always informative and a great opportunity for our farmers to have their voices heard. We are looking forward to another meaningful event.”
Those interested in attending should register by Monday, Aug. 16, by calling Culver’s Sunbury district office at 570-286-5885.
